  • You are currently in Canada and unable to apply for permanent residence through standard programs

  • You would face undue hardship if forced to leave (e.g., separation from Canadian family, medical concerns, country conditions)

  • You can demonstrate strong ties to Canada (community involvement, work history, integration)

  • Best interests of children involved are a key factor in your application

  • You are not barred from applying due to serious inadmissibility or past misrepresentation (subject to review)


Note: H&C applications are not meant for everyone. They are exceptional cases, judged on merit and compassion, at the full discretion of IRCC.
